It certainly does in the Midwest, apparently! My sister in Milwaukee said that an apartment building was swallowed by a sink hole up to the third floor! That must have been rather startling to the occupants, to say the least. No injuries were reported, but I wonder....

Hope you haven't experienced any flooding!

The only flooding we've experienced is in Jake's basement bedroom. He used to have a trickle in there from time to time with heavy rain but we thought we had it licked. It's been a long, long time since he had water in there. Hopefully, it was only because of the heavy amounts we experienced.
