What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Renewing the Mind

Here's a great article from R. C. Sproul for this Sunday morning:  Renewing the Mind

Coram Deo: Renew your mind today by immersing it in God’s Word.

2 Thessalonians 2:1–2: “We ask you … not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled.”

1 Corinthians 2:16: “For ‘Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:4–5: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”

“For ‘Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.” It's such a great quote I may use it as my forum signature. There's a really fascinating debate that I thought would be of interest on evolution vs. intelligent design going on at http://www.intelligentdesignfacts.com

Good article! I'm surprised at how many people we come in contact with don't understand the necessity of renewing their minds on a daily----or really, moment by moment----basis.
