Short Cuts
Short Cuts All the purposes of man have been defeated, but not the purposes of God. The promises of man may be broken—many of them are made to be broken—but the promises of God shall all be fulfilled. He is a promise-maker, but He never was a promise-breaker; He is a promise-keeping God, and every one of His people shall prove it to be so. This is my grateful, personal confidence, "The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me"—unworthy me, lost and ruined me.

Oh my, Kim. I think you may have too much time on your hands....
Are these nuggets coming from your own creativity?
No, they are not out of my own head, more's the pity. I just thought they were funny and last week I got them ready to post since I don't have much time over the next couple of weeks and I didn't want day after day of Spurgeon devotionals with nothing in between. There are lots more to come! ~Kim
