Yellow sky
Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 07:31AM
This really is the sky around 7:30 last night, after a storm.
More pictures later. . .
Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!Bakker, Frans.

I have seen the sky turn that color after a storm before. Neat, isn't it?
so foreboding...
looking forward to more photos!
Wow.
Skies around here turn pink and sometimes orange - right now I'll looking at a slate-y grey sky.
Our sky was that color earlier in the week--due to wildfires. And while I know the Florida ecology needs wildfires, they always make me nervous. Thursday, I could see the ash in the air. I'm so thankful for the tropical storm that moved in yesterday, and washed the air clear.
It looks like something you would see in a movie about Africa - a safari scene! Can't wait to see more pictures.
Like TulipGirl I immediately thought fires. How eerie!
The second additional picture really gives you an idea of how weird the weather was; part of the sky was eerily yellow, part was blue as could be with the sun shining, and yet down in the neighborhood, amongst the houses and trees, it looked (and felt!) as though it was deepest dusk. ~K
Thanks for the update photos...
Love the blue trying to make its way through.
