What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

A view from my porch

If you look closely, you can see my neighbors--two of them--across the street with snowblowers. Notice, too, that our sidewalks are already done. Well, they were a half hour ago. We went out about 5:30 to work on the driveway and sidewalks. It was dark then. Over two hours later we finished up and we could probably start all over again.

Still snowing! I think I'm going to get plenty of practice with the snowblower today.

But isn't it lovely?

Snow is so pretty when one is cozily indoors! We're supposed to get tons of it today - it's cold like winter, but bare. I need snow to feel like Christmas!

Brrr,
It makes me chilly just looking at it, but it's amazingly beautiful. It's cool here (50º) but the sun is out!

I was wondering how the weather was in your neighborhood since I have been following this storm on the Weather Channel. We had an all day rain yesterday and today it is raining off and on with VERY strong winds. The temp started out at 52 this morning, and now at 1:45 pm,it has fallen to 38.But thankfully, NO snow!! Paula is running in a half marathon tomorrow. I hope these winds die down for that.

So lovely. We had snow in Colorado on Tuesday, and obviously passed it along to the midwestern states.

Make some hot chocolate, and watch the snow from your window!
