Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Chocolate Peppermint Pinwheel Cookies

Rebecca really knows how to have fun and get people involved! She has designated this Wednesday as "Christmas Recipe Round-up" Day--the day when she gathers together all the yummy Christmas recipes submitted into one place. Why don't you post one of your favorite Christmas recipes on your blog and send a link to Rebecca? Here's my recipe:

Chocolate Peppermint Pinwheel Cookies

This recipe is copyrighted by the Food Network, so you'll have to follow the link. These are gorgeous, delicious cookies. Rolling them up into pinwheels is a bit tricky but if I can do it, you can too! Need help? You can watch Alton Brown prepare these cookies on air Monday Dec. 18 at 7:00 PM ET/PT on the Food Network.

They look good! I'll give them a try - I'm always on the lookout for tasty cookie recipes. I have a sugar cookie recipe that has been in my family for years - we cut them out in Christmas shapes and decorate. I'll get that up before Wed.

They're beautiful, and I just know they're delicious! I will definitely get the recipe and make them.

I posted one for Gingerbread cookies.
They're a must-have for Christmas in our family.

Your cookies look delicious! We tried to make pinwheel cookies on the weekend, with less aesthetically pleasing results. Still were yummy, though.
