What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Spring

There is an undefinable "thing" about spring. It smells a certain way. It sounds a certain way. And it feels a certain way. For some reason, even though it is still February, even though it is 31 degrees out, and even though everything has that dirty, brown appearance from melting snow and all the grime of a long winter, I felt it today. It's coming! It really is!

I can't wait for spring!! It is my favorite time of the year. I love to see the new life-the flowers starting to bloom, and the grass turning green and the leaves and buds coming out on the trees. Everything looks so fresh and new after a long, cold winter.

Not to rub it in, but it's been in the 70's around here, but it's starting to smell like spring here too. :-)

Hi Sare!

I think you get spring a couple of weeks before me so you'll have to let me know when you see something really happening!

Hi Doug,

Yea, yea, yea. . .whenever someone starts out with "not to rub it in" that's when the rubbing in starts! :)

Glad spring is on its way where you are, too!

You know, when I was taking my garbage out after supper tonight, I thought the same thing.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the days getting longer? Maybe the extra daylight does something to the dirt or something.

Well, I can make up a theory, right?

I know what you mean, I actually dared to mention the S word today.

Seeing as we don't live very far away from each other maybe, just maybe, we're on to something.
