QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Basement cleaning day

cleaning.JPGToday I am cleaning the basement.  Seriously.  I thought someone ought to know just in case I am never heard from again.  You'll know where to find me--somewhere between the laundry and the patio furniture and the boxes of homeschool books stacked in the corner from last August's garage sale.  Oh, and rolling tumbleweeds of cat hair.

I'll keep you in our prayers Kim! :)

Your new blog looks great, just gotta ask though?

For us blogger.com users, what was the biggest reason for the change, anything that we (blogger.com users) should be concerned with?

Y.B.I.C,

Dave.

P.S.

I had my comments set up for moderation on my blog and didn't realize it. So that is why it took forever for your comment to show up. Sorry, I've changed that and now comments are instantly added to the post.

Today, I have to clean the playroom. I would rather clean a basement, frankly.
Sigh... off I go.

Hi Dave,

I actually liked Blogger a whole lot and it was a bit of a wrench to change. One of the biggest things about Blogger, for me, was how often I had problems posting photos and how many problems I had posting.

One of the things I like most about Squarespace is the fact that I can "house" all of my blogs in one spot. Also, I love the interface. It is very easy to use.

I could never get anyone from Blogger to help me when I had a problem, but I have contacted the support staff at Squarespace just to ask questions and have had a quick and courteous response.

Have fun cleaning the playroom, Beck. If you're anything like me, you'll end up playing with the toys and the kids . . .

How very ambitious of you, Kim. Cleaning the basement is something I don't think I'll ever do while we live here. Our basement feels like the oldest part of the house. Apart from the HVAC and the nonfunctioning cistern pump from the 1920s, it feels like 1850 down there. Currently, Brian is setting up his train platform in the basement, which may take away some of the gloom. However, I only go down there if I need a potato or an onion. For whatever reason, we keep them in the basement.
