What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

I am honored

award button.JPG

I am honored to learn that one of my posts, Perspectives, has been named as a finalist in the Hidden Treasure Awards.

Thank you to whoever it was that nominated the post.  I am truly humbled by the nomination.

I've been visiting the other finalists and have found many hidden treasures!  Thank you, Jules, for putting this all together and highlighting so many worthy bloggers.  I feel honored to be among them.

Thank you for your kind words.

I was embarrassed to find three, count 'em, three typos in the original post. *blush*

Don't you just LOVE that "modify entry" button?

Congratulations on your nomination--I've got to go check them out myself.

Also, thanks for checking in at my blog today, fellow Police/Sting fan! I was feeling rather silly about the whole thing (especially after reading Everyday Mommy's post about Ella), so I wrote tomorrow's post last night, too. Stay tune for more Sting...

Oh, I like Ella, don't get me wrong.

Sting can really sing the jazzy blues. Jazz didn't stop with Ella.

Wouldn't you love to hear Sting and Ella sing a duet? I can practically see him with that big ol' stand up bass viol and the two of them wailing.

Now that would be fun!

You go girl! Congrats. My guys were away yesterday so I put on a pot of coffee, got in my comfy flannel PJ's and read thru your site. You have a done a very nice job and you are deserving of this honor. It was me that sent the email with the attachment. I ran across it and thought you might like a copy too. PS - your recipes will be on my table in the next two weeks, esp. the soups. Again, nice job Kim.

Wow! It's ok to go public with the fact that you enjoy Sting?

Well, ok then. I admit it.
