Rainy Days and Mondays
Monday, April 23, 2007 at 07:03AM The day has become increasingly dark. The rain is waiting nearby, hovering over our little cottage, gathering the shadows and nudging them back into the corners of the rooms, lulling the dogs to sleep.
I love rainy Mondays.

I feel cheated. No rain. Shadows have retreated along with the rain clouds. The wind is up and a cool breeze has blown the rain elsewhere. . . clouds without water, carried about by the winds. . .
And yet the sun is nice and the breeze is fresh.
Rain, rain, went away. Come again another day.

It's raining, it's pouring here. Very grey, damp, chilly - a lovely rainy spring day. I had to run some errands which dampened (har har!) my mood a bit, but now I'm home and safe and dry and happy.
We have a beautiful blue, cloudless sky here with temperatures in the 70s. I think the wind has blown your rain in our direction--we're expecting some precipitation mid-week.
I like rainy days, too. Especially when I can enjoy them at home.

We had an 80% chance of thunderstorms forecast for this afternoon, but nothing has happened.It has just been a very windy day.I actually like the rain, but I guess I will have to wait until another day for it.
The wind is really picking up in my area. TV calling for severe wind gusts and rain after midnight. We were SO enjoying the sunshine. I washed up all our bedcovers and hung them out on the line. The bedrooms smell like fresh sunshine! By the way Kim, did you get your book yet? Sounds like some good reading weather! I like to set on my front porch with a hot cup of coffee and my reading stuff. Waiting to hear how you like it. I hate to admit this but back in 79 I gave my Tolkien books to a friends son. I know, my head is hanging, I pray he enjoyed them and still has them! They were hardcovers too! Oh well ...
I think it came down hear. We were wading through puddles all day! It was beautiful.
