What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Begging Your Pardon

Begging your pardon
I'm off to the garden
To roll up my sleeves
And rake up the leaves

Did you actually rake leaves? I love the smell of leaves in the Fall- they have a farewell scent as evocative for the memory as potpourri! I need a pile and a young child to sit in it with me- Aidan is coming next week! I'm going to have to rake a pile and force my husband to leave it for awhile!

Yes, I did rake SOME of them. I raked one section of the yard and filled three bags. I could have kept going, but we only had three bags left and since rain is in the forecast, I didn't want there to be big ol' wet piles of leaves sitting on the grass.

I love the collage. I rake some leaves and leave some in the garden for birds to hide in and to find any bugs that are hiding..I love fall. Thank you for your comment on my poverty post..

They are a lot of work, but oh-so-pretty to look at. Your pictures are wonderful!
