Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

This reminds me of the leaf projects that all my kids had to do in 7th grade :)

Lovely leaves, Kim! Don't you just love Fall! Oh, and I love the new banner too!

That's beautiful! I was just looking at the leaves and thinking how gorgeous all the colours were today! I used to try to press them to preserve them but photography is so much better. Pressed leaves fade so.

What tree is that gigantic leaf from? The one on the bottom left with the red maple leaves on top? It is beautiful and downright tree-mendous!!!

That is the same leaf that you see in the upper left corner--and it IS gigantic! It almost perfectly spans an 8X11.5 piece of paper! I've got more leaf art to share--one every day until the end of October--so you'll see that monster again. I'll put him up tomorrow. That one came from our silver maple. That's the biggest one I've found--they range from huge to tiny. It's one of my favorite trees in the yard.

I grew up in FL, so when I moved to PA 11 years ago, fall was a wonderful blessing. I had never seen so many gorgeous leaves in person before. It's my favourite time of year now -- I just adore the many coloured leaves.

My sister , my niece and I went for a ride today to see the leaves before the rain. We had a great day together. I loved your pictures of leaves. It brought back many memories of when I would have my students do leaf projects. Thank you.
