What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Giving Thanks in November

Tom and I had Elliott here with us for the evening so his Mommy and Daddy could enjoy a dinner date.  We had such fun with him!  We spent most of the time he was here down on the floor with him, dangling toys for him to grasp and tickling his belly and playing peek a boo.  I am so very thankful that Elliott lives so close to us and we get to see him so frequently and be a part of his young life.  What a blessing it is to be a grandparent!

Of all the blessings of 2008, of which there were many, I am most thankful for Elliott, our grandson.

*As usual, I was so busy playing with Elliott that I forgot to take pictures tonight.  This is a snap I took several weeks ago.

What are you thankful for this day?  Rebecca is gathering up all our thankful posts each day, so if you've written a thanksgiviing post, be sure to let Rebecca know so she can add yours to her list!

Kids are the first thing we have to thank God for. They are the future. Elliott is a big boy now. He's so sweet.
