Project Looking Through
Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 09:07AM
A Word of Explanation is necessary: I took this photo while on vacation at Big Crooked Lake, WI. I offered it as a mystery photo, with a prize for the person who most closely described the image.
Since the mystery has already been solved, here's the solution:
The photo was taken in August, 2007, when we were up on Big Crooked Lake in Wisconsin. It was taken early in the morning, with the sun shining across the lake toward the pier. The pontoon boat was beached this year, due to a very dry summer. I took the picture from the beach, looking through the space between the pontoons, toward the motor.

I remember this one. It's such a cool photo! It snowed at my house in Seattle yesterday :) Two of my kids had to call me in So. Cal. to let me know...
I can't tell what I'm seeing here. But thanks for playing again.
I love this picture. :)
I would never have guessed what it is, so I'm glad you provided the explanation; AFTER the fact, it's very clear. Before? Not so much.
Artistically, I find it very appealing, soothing.
I remember this one!! Very cool, indeed.
