What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!
Bakker, Frans.

Thought Provoking

A thought provoking quote:
To us, the moment 8:17 A.M. means something - something very important, if it happens to be the starting time of our daily train. To our ancestors, such an odd eccentric instant was without significance - did not even exist. In inventing the locomotive, Watt and Stevenson were part inventors of time.
Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963)
What thoughts has it provoked in YOU?

It's made me long for a return to the era when time was not measured in increments..... It also made me recognize, yet again, that the specific measuring of time can be a shackle as much as a yardstick. :(

It affirms for me what I wrote in my journal today- we measure time and time measures us. And it makes me ask the Biblical question :"What is man that you are mindful of him?" From our bound existence within time we are touched by Eternity... mind boggling- life changing and without out a doubt only within the realm of the Almighty!
