What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Quote of the Week:  Edwards

The way of heaven is ascending; we must be content to travel up hill, though it be hard and tiresome, and contrary to the natural bias of our flesh.  We should follow Christ; the path He travelled, was the right way to heaven.  We should take up our cross and follow Him, in meekness and lowliness of heart, obedience and charity, diligence to do good and patience under afflictions.

Jonathan Edwards

A wonderful quote to share Kim. It is something that can help prepare my heart for tomorrow's worship service at church. If the weather cooperates, our Praise Team is going to head down to the prison again to worship with them as well. Pray that our trip will be a safe one (if we are even able to go.)

I will pray for you, Angie! I do hope that you will be able to go and I'm glad that I know so I can pray.

We've had a lot of snow here, too!

Contrary to the natural bias of our flesh, which is so strong.
