A Dangerous Day
Yikes! Poor Tom and Jake and everyone else who has to go out and drive to work in this! Poor Ivy and Eve who have to go out and go potty in this!
I'm going to stay in my warmest blue robe all day long. There will likely be hot chocolate warming on the back burner, a batch of cookies baking in time for lunch consumption, something stew-y for dinner, maybe some bread or rolls baking.
Pray for those whose job takes them out in these conditions, for the homeless, for those who live alone, for those who have to drive a long distance to and from work (praying for you, Andy!) for the animals and pets who don't get to snooze on the couch snuggled in a blanket. There will be dead car batteries all over Chicagoland--pray that no one will be stranded without help, exposed to these cruel elements.
It's a dangerous day.

you stay in keep warm - no snow here and even a bit of sun but I won;t be going out until it warms yp a bit.
Yikes! Stay safe and warm and I'm praying...
Stay warm- cookies and stew sound real good for the day! Don't send this our way- we already have enough snow! Thanks!
That's "dirty weather" as they call it around here. Hope you stay nice and toasty and all your loved ones travel safe.
Thanks for the prayers for Andy. He got there safely this morning so the commute is halfway over.
So sorry about your weather. Stew and hot chocolate are exactly right.
Your cold weather plans sound cozy! If the weather weren't so nasty (and Chicago so far away from Alabama), I might invite myself over for some cookies and stew! Stay warm and safe.
Your indoor plans sound...yummy! :) I hope you all stay safe and sound.
