Recipe: Easy BBQ Beef Sandwich
When we were in Ohio last weekend, my mother-in-law served these scrumptious sandwiches--and they couldn't be easier! I've got mine in the crock pot for tonight's supper and I can't begin to tell you how good it smells in this house! You really need to try this super, couldn't-be-easier recipe!
Easy BBQ Beef Sandwiches
Cook in crock pot on low for 8 - 10 hours:
3 lb. rump roast
1 jar DelMonte Chili Sauce
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
1 can cola
Shred and serve over buns.
What could be easier? Not sure how many it serves, but I'm guessing about 2 dozen.
UPDATE: I just shredded my meat. I could tell there was a lot more 'juice' than I needed, so I poured the juice out of the crock pot before returning the meat and then ladled juice, one ladle at time, until it was the right consistency. Perfect!
