What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

December Blog break

It's December and I'll be taking a break from blogging and reading blogs between now and the first of the year.  I want to simplify my life as much as possible this month to keep the focus on faith and family during the Christmas season.  I may post occasionally if there's anything I want to chronicle for the family, but other than that, I expect the blog will be quiet.

I'll be checking email, so I won't be completely unreachable!

I hope that your Christmas season is full of faith and family, peace and joy, and the joyful anticipation of Christ's second coming as we reflect upon the miracle of His advent!

Hope you're able to pop in now and then, but I think most of us will have a scattered presence on our blogs during the Christmas season for the same reasons you mentioned.

I'm sure I'll say it again, Kim, but Christmas blessings to you and your family. May the joy of the Lord burst in and from your hearts!

Enjoy your break, Kim. I will be thinking of you this month.

I haven't given a single thought to Christmas cards yet, but if I get to that, I'll be sending one your way.

Merry Christmas, dear friend.

XO

I will miss hearing from you- but completely understand the need to pull back.
Merry Christmas, Kim!

The other day when my wife sent me to the attic for the decorations, I remembered your video from last year. (The one with the many trips to get decorations.) I hope you have a good month with family, and that you all have a merry Christmas.
