What I Believe
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Compare yourself with those who on the Lord’s Day hear nothing except the dismal sound of the world. What a privilege it is for you to hear the proclamation of the gospel!

Essential technology

My coffee is gone, I've traveled my daily internet path of blogs and newspapers and discussion groups.  I just got up from my chair to pick up the house and begin my daily tasks. As I reached to turn off the table lamp, I saw this:

What you see here is our cordless phone, my little radio, my iPod, my jumpdrive, and my computer.  What is present on the table but obscured by the tilt of the computer screen is my wireless mouse and my cell phone.  What was there but didn't make the photo was my camera (of course, I had to pick it up to use it.)  A strange still life, don't you think?  Oh, and there's one more essential on the table top; my copy of Berkhof's Systematic Theology.

My coffee table looks a little like that, but I also have some remote controls. And it's way messier right now.

Looks like my dining room table! Except I have no camera and lots more dust. And the coffee is rarely gone. :-)
