I got some new glasses!

I hate glasses.  I hate wearing glasses.  I hate the way they are always dirty and they steam up when you drain the potatoes and you can never find them when you need them.   I hate that I can't read without them on my face.   For years, I've been trying to pretend that I really don't wear glasses and have been choosing the most invisible, unnoticable frames I can possibly find. (You know the kind--thin little side thingys and little or no wire frames)  Well, this time I took my daughter in law with me to pick out my frames and with her help, I came home with some very studious, bookish looking dark horn rimmed frames and I.LOVE.THEM.

Think Johnny Depp.

I'd show you a picture but to tell the truth, today my hair looks a bit more like Johnny Depp's than Diane Keaton's. . .

Yes, show us! I got some new glasses last year with black frames. At first I only wore them occasionally but now I think I've retired the contacts for good...or least for awhile! I think it's more about laziness than about my glasses though...but I do like them...a lot.

Hi Kim! Those look great. My Dad thinks glasses are a miracle! Without them, he can't see, but when he puts them on.. Voila!
